AR/Billing Accountant
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a long-standing law firm in the DMV area
- Due to a retirement, they are hiring a AR/Billing Accountant in their DC location. This position is hybrid (2 days remote) after training
- Duration: Contract-to-Hire
- Pay Rate: $30-32/hr

Overview of the AR/Billing Accountant role:
- Billing - prepare invoices and maintain an established billing schedule
- Payment Posting - credit, cash, check, & ACH
- Collections - B2B / B2C collections - monitor the aging - establish relationships with clients
- General reconciliations / ad hoc reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the AR/Billing Accountant:
- 3+ years of law firm billing experience
- Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables / VLOOKUPs)
- Strong reconciliations skills
- Great Plains system experience is a PLUS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
