Accounting Clerk/Office Administrator

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk/Office Administrator to become an integral part of our team You will compile data, compute charges, and prepare invoices. This is a Contract/Temp to full-time hire position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in documenting processes and procedures
- Enter and post financial transactions into Global Shop ERP/Accounting system
- Cash and credit card reconciliations
- Accounts Payable Duties include matching receivers to purchase order and finalizing invoices against receiver. Maintain monthly payables. Oversee AP check runs
- Assist in monthly financial close process
- Assist payroll, including maintaining time and expense records
- Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards
- Perform all other office tasks
POSITION COMPETENCIES
- Accounting/bookkeeping experience or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Excellent team skills, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and commitment to quality of work
- Strong computer skills and proficient in: Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
