Job DescriptionJob Description

Clayton Services is searching for a Retail Office Clerk to join a thriving pool supply and construction company in Humble, Texas. The Retail Office Clerk will assist customers with water samples, answer phones, and perform general administrative duties.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $15.00-$16.00/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Retail Office Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Assist and greet customers
  • Answer questions or concerns regarding inventory and products in the shop
  • Answer phones, take messages, and transfer calls
  • Create and maintain basic spreadsheets and information
  • Assist with running water samples
  • Additional duties as assigned

Retail Office Clerk Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Retail Office Clerk Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs

Retail Office Clerk Education and Experience:

  • Previous administrative or customer service experience is highly desired
  • High school diploma required
