Accounting Administrative Assistant

We are a locally owned and operated HOA Management Company in San Antonio Texas. We manage Homeowners Associations in the San Antonio and surrounding areas. Our dedicated staff provide excellent customer service to the HOA’s we manage to ensure the neighborhoods not only look nice, but also retain the highest resale value on their homes. Position Summary:
The AP/AP Assistant interacts with DAMC Managers, and other Accounting Assistants, on a daily basis to complete a multitude of tasks that arise daily.
Personality Characteristics:
We are looking for a dynamic individual. One who is a self-starter with a positive “can do” attitude. One who can correspond well, both verbally and written, and can multitask to excel in meeting the challenges that each day brings.
List of Responsibilities. May Vary with Title of AP or AR:
· Processes receivables
· Processes journal entries
· Responsible for maintaining a portfolio of payables for HOA managers
· Scans checks for deposit
· Sets Up New HOA Vendors
· Processes auto pay utility transactions
· Assists with research where necessary
· Processes bank returns
· Assists with preparing reconciliations for monthly management reports
· Any other administrative task as assigned.
List of Job Requirements:
· 2 years- experience working in the accounting field. Accounting in the HOA industry is a bonus.
· Prior customer service experience.
· Good work ethic with a great attitude and ability to work either individually or on a team.
· We will consider someone without the above experience if you are a dynamic individual who feels this type of work would be interesting and challenging and you have the aptitude to learn the processes.
