Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business and Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of our business operations, including hiring and recruiting, as well as day-to-day operational needs. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and Recruiting:

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.

    • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.

    • Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies and partners.

  • Day-to-Day Operations:

    • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations.

    • Manage and optimize resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities.

    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans to achieve operational goals.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

    • Set clear expectations, goals, and objectives for team members and hold them accountable for results.

    • Mentor and develop staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer service, to support overall business objectives.

    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives and business plans.

    • Serve as a liaison between different departments to facilitate communication and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a track record of success in hiring, recruiting, and operations management.

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
