Administrative Office Manager

We are looking for an Administrative Office Manager to organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures; an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats. Needs to be experienced in managing a wide range of administrative duties and company support-related tasks while working independently with little or no supervision. A successful Administrative Office Manager is well organized, flexible and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Principal Responsibilities

Ensures the smooth running of the office and assists in improving company procedures and day-to-day operations in a pleasant environment

Responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting procedures and standards to guide the operation of the business

Oversee the work of company employees to ensue productivity meets deadlines and company standards

Human Resource responsibilities including:

o Payroll

o Policy creation and adherence

o Creation and maintenance of company manuals, i.e., Policy and Procedure manuals, Employee Handbook, Training manual, MIOSHA, Job Descriptions

o Assist and coordinate the onboarding/orientation and training of new hires

o Manage internal staff relations

o Team member for company recruiting/interviewing team

Accounting

Accounts Payable

Accounts Receivable

Monitor and allocate office supplies, electronics, etc. as required

Skills

Proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements

Proactive problem-solving abilities

Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

Approachability

Coach/Mentor

Requirements

· Documentation of proven office management or administrative experience

· Knowledge of office/clerical and human resources practices and procedures

· Knowledge of business and management principals

· College preferred or equivalent experience
