  • 3 months contract, with possible hire

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and be proficient in various accounting software applications. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.

Duties:

- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Analyze financial data and provide support for audits

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role
- Proficiency in 10-key typing and accounting software
- Knowledge of tax principles and regulations
- Experience with Kronos, Workday, or similar systems is a plus
- Strong technical accounting skills including double-entry bookkeeping
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Ability to analyze financial information accurately
