Position Summary: Victory Church is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, the Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our church office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a passion for serving others. The work week will be Sunday-Thursday.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the Chief of Staff, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
  2. Coordinate and assist with church events, including logistics, communications, and volunteer coordination.
  3. Maintain and organize office files, documents, and records in both digital and physical formats.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits, providing excellent customer service to members and visitors.
  5. Assist with data entry, database management, and maintaining accurate membership records.
  6. Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by church leadership.
  7. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the organization.

Qualifications:

  1. Associate’s degree or higher strongly preferred.
  2. Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a church or nonprofit setting.
  3. Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  7. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  8. Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends for special events or projects.
  9. Experience with church-specific software such as Planning Center or similar platforms is a plus.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $40,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
