Administrative Assistant Division: Underwriting

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·   Handle daily tasks administrative tasks as a resource for the Underwriting Division including but not limited to management of       division general mailbox, Certificate of Insurance issuance, and preparation and maintenance of project-related worksheets.

·      Answer telephones and direct calls.

·      Prepare reports and correspondence.

·      Develop memoranda regarding administrative issues.

·      Prepare and coordinate material for Board and Committee meetings.

·      Prepare, develop, and update spreadsheet files.  Create reports.

·      Prepare expense reports.

·      Special projects as assigned.

·      Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Specific Skills Required for Position:

·                     Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel).

·                     Excellent spreadsheet development and maintenance skills.

·                     Demonstrated ability to navigate the internet and perform internet research.

·                     Excellent attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·                     Ability to hold and maintain confidentiality.

·                     Professional services-oriented demeanor.

·                     Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and capable of juggling tasks.

·                     Action oriented with a strong work ethic.

·                     Ability to cover Reception during lunch hour and two 15-minute breaks.

Education and Experience:

·      High school graduate or equivalent.  College Helpful

·      At least three years of administrative support experience in related field.
