Job Description
CREW builders, inc. has a career opportunity for a Business Development & Marketing position overseeing our San Diego, Orange County/Los Angeles, and Arizona offices This position will take a lead role in the creation and implementation of marketing and business development strategy with a focus in client satisfaction, for all three regions. This professional will be responsible for developing internal (PM/estimating teams, executives, etc.…) and external (property owners, brokers, tenants) relationships to support growth of the San Diego, Orange County/Los Angeles, and Arizona offices. In addition, the successful candidate will partner with regional leadership team to implement company-wide marketing strategies on a regional level.
Some things you can expect to do:
· Anticipate and create opportunities for new business and sources of revenue, successfully negotiate and close management agreement transactions with clients and prospects
· Partner with regional leadership to develop and implement strategy and messaging for the region’s marketing efforts
· Represent CREW in trade organizations and in the community to identify and contact potential clients to establish rapport and determine opportunities
· Monitor industry competitive marketing strategies and tools in order to maximize CREW’s competitive advantage
· Assist Regional Leaders and executives with the creation and implementation of the business development and marketing budget
· Responsible for revenue generation for specified regions
· Manage and execute RFQ/RFP strategy, messaging, and design
· Create engaging presentations for potential clients
· Identify performance gaps that are keeping CREW builders from leading the market. Work with internal regional leaders to develop a Business Plan to achieve desired outcomes
· Develop and manage advertising and public relations plans and implementation.
· Develop ideas and manage the execution of the logistics for events including sponsorships, groundbreakings, grand openings, and industry conferences
· Draft content for award submissions
To be successful in this role, a bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Marketing, Economics, or Real Estate is preferred. Candidates with at least 5 years of experience working for/as a real estate management company, property management company, construction management company, real estate development company and/or general contractor, are most likely to be successful. Completion of certifications, such as CCIM, LEED AP, CPC, CM-LEAN, and/or PMP are preferred.

· Have an understanding of market demands and are able to develop knowledge of the current portfolio of clients, including growth opportunities and upcoming portfolio changes
· Have strategic and marketing planning skills, a wide breadth and depth of marketing experience, excellent business and proposal writing/editing, abilities, outstanding technical graphic design skills, and solid familiarity with marketing communications and public relations
· Ensure consistent accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job
· Demonstrate leadership in all situations
· Are proficient in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and have knowledge of CRM systems
· Have strong analytical and problem-solving ability
· Can create, work, and deliver within a defined, often short, schedule, and work successfully in a fast-paced team environment
· Respond professionally and quickly to client and team member requests
· Hold all others accountable for their contributions to produce top quality deliverables and proposals
· Flourish with minimal guidance and handle uncertainty
· Have flexibility to meet changing customer needs
