Speech Therapist Early Intervention

We are seeking a Speech Therapist Early Intervention to join our team You will evaluate and treat patients ages 0-3 with a variety of communication needs. This position works with children qualified through the San Diego Regional Center and as a therapist you get to make your own schedule as well as determine the number of clients on your caseload (anywhere from 2-25) and the areas and hours that you work.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and document evaluations for early intervention aged clients.
- Provide weekly, hour-long therapy sessions in-home.
- Write progress reports every 6 months and evaluation reports or dismissals at each year.
- Maintain communication with families for scheduling or any cancellations or modifications needed as well as providing strategies and ideas for the family to use at home.
Qualifications:
- CA SLP license (not able to hire CFs at this time)
- Familiarity with communication disorders
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive and patient demeanor
