Business Consultant - Sales Representative


Salary Range

Job Summary

Objective:

To market and enroll prospects into our Business Consulting, Business Plan Writing, and Grant Writing Services

Summary:

Provides Business Consulting, Business Development, closes sales, and resolves issues by offering solutions, explanations, and options. Sells additional QT products and services. Gets our clients to the finish line in 6 weeks and create 100% raving fans. This position is a Full-Time Statutory Employee position that will require 25 to 32 hours per week. This is a hybrid remote and in-office position. Hours will typically be between 9 am and 6 pm, however, evening, weekend, and in-person events or appointments may be required and therefore schedule flexibility is required.

General Accountabilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential role of a Business Consultant sales representative is to call out to clients within the database to perform a coaching strategy session. Your role will be to consistently meet and exceed agreed-upon monthly enrollment goals along with a monthly expectation of agreed-upon sales, upsells, downsells or cross-sells

This position is a virtual sales position; you will work from a home office and have the freedom to implement the pre-agreed upon sales objectives.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and statistics within the CRM

Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualified leads and sell our Writing Services as well as other QT products and services.

This is a “dial out” sales role in addition to requiring that you handle inbound sales calls and convert those calls into sales or down sells or cross-sells Build and maintain customer relationships.

Some travel may be required to sell our services at events.

Other duties or special projects to be assigned by Manager.

 

General Accountabilities

Complete all required training and spend at least 25 hours per week on appointments or calling prospects, etc.

Facilitating workshops on Zoom, at own location, QT location, or outside locations

Provide clients with training of best practice methods

Prospect for clients, meet with clients and present QT products and services truthfully, with the highest degree of integrity

Profile Prospects and enter their contact and business information data using your assigned affiliate link immediately as QT awards commission to the first affiliate referring a new prospect/client

Meeting with potential business owners on zoom, at their offices or with those business owners at QT’s offices

Explaining QT’s services, truthfully, with integrity to potential customers of QT

Filling out paperwork (i.e. sales contracts) completely and correctly

Keep detailed notes updated in our CRM and ensure that any and every correspondence with a client, prospect, or suspect is recorded in our CRM

Submitting customer or potential customer files to QT in a timely fashion

Protecting the data of potential customers and customers of QT while in Business Consultants care

Using only QT approved advertising and marketing materials.

Use QT Brand only when speaking about QT Business Solutions Services

Be a QT Business Solutions Brand Ambassadors

Complete all tasks promised to QT Clients.

 

Job Qualifications

A minimum of 6 years recent sales experience with an emphasis on telephone selling as well as documented top producer status; preferably in an inside sales environment utilizing both inbound and outbound calling techniques.

Must have a Life & Health Producer License or ability to take the exam within 30 days of hire

A demonstrated ability to effectively work as a team with other members of the Coaching Sales team and various departments within the company to achieve individual, departmental, and company goals.
You will need acceptable modern computer skills and be expected to follow all company policies and procedures.

You will need the ability to build rapport and be able to correspond with people from all over the world.

This position calls for the ability to effectively communicate with all types of people.

The ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form.

The ability to work from your home.

Key Performance Indicators

All incoming leads and customer correspondence properly handled within 1 business day

All required reports are well prepared and presented weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly without prompting

All clients to the finish line timely 6 to 8 weeks from their first payment

Written report submitted to supervisor via email showing up-to-date payment milestones or written update in Infusionsoft and written report showing the disposition of payments and attempts to collect.

Minimum 20 ancillary services referred to client success manager per pay period

Minimum 20 new prospects added to each Start, Grow, Fund event

Minimum 15 appointments for new prospects or referrals  per week

Minimum of 100 phone calls per completed per day

Minimum 25 new leads obtained per week

Two (2) closed sales per week 

 

Time Keeping

Recorded Zoom/RingCentral meetings with clients

Recorded Ring Central phone calling time with clients or potential clients

Team meetings

Outside or in office time or networking meeting time

30 minutes of general administration time will be added per every 4 hours of recorded hours on RingCentral and Zoom during the pay period

Time sheets need to be turned in by 3 p.m. EST on the last day of the month and the 15th of the month.

Proficiencies

Financial Knowledge: The CEO’s CSS will have a high attention to detail and accuracy, using their existing experience dealing with financial information, their experience supporting Executives, and their ground level understanding of accounting terminology to provide informed administrative support.

Quality Communication: The CSS must be an excellent communicator, in both written and oral form. This includes proficiency in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. This also includes being able to take a large amount of information and summarize it quickly both in writing and orally on a regular basis. You must also be able to track communication (and be very responsive) across multiple channels without losing any details. Those channels could include in-person meetings, virtual video calls, Slack messages, text messages and/or emails.

High Level of Discretion: Since our CSS will regularly work with confidential information, discretion and sensitivity regarding financial information is a must.

Team Player: In addition to working directly with the CEO, the CSS will also work with members of the Team and several others from other departments. They’ll need to be able to collaborate and communicate well with these team members, maintaining a can-do spirit and not complaining, making excuses, or gossiping.
