Job Overview: They are seeking a dynamic Specialist in Business Development to support our esteemed Litigation Practice Group. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping strategic business development and marketing initiatives, fostering client relationships, and driving growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the formulation and execution of strategic business development and marketing plans, collaborating with partners, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  2. Develop an in-depth understanding of the Litigation Practice Group's market position, strengths, expertise, and client base.
  3. Craft compelling written proposals, pitches, and communications for clients, prospects, and third-party organizations.
  4. Spearhead content-driven campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with the global business development team to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
  6. Support key client initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-value services.
  7. Plan and manage seminars, events, and targeted marketing activities.
  8. Assist in managing business development budgets.
  9. Coordinate with functional managers on PR, communications, and digital marketing efforts.
  10. Travel as required to support initiatives and participate in activities.
  11. Lead additional related projects within the department or firm as assigned.

Proficiencies Required:

  1. Knowledge of legal and professional services marketing trends and technologies.
  2. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and document management systems.
  3. Fundamental understanding of CRM systems.
  4. Strong online research and analytical skills to identify market trends and business opportunities.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  6. Understanding of law firm operations and corporate legal client expectations.
  7. Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and applications.
  8. Basic networking and relationship management skills.
  9. Proficiency in team building, management, and leadership.
  10. Fundamental understanding of legal concepts.
  11. Ability to manage priorities and projects independently.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree (required)
  • 5+ years of work experience (required)
  • Law firm experience (preferred)
  • Experience supporting Litigation Practice Group (preferred)
