$52K-$55K DOE

Role Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Payable Associate to manage the full accounts payable process. This individual will need to address discrepancies, errors, or vendor concerns efficiently. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit invoices, expense reports, and other disbursements to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Accurately code and post accounts payable transactions to the general ledger.
  • Monitor overdue invoices and follow up with relevant parties.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounts payable reports as needed.
  • Generate and maintain precise accounts payable reports as required.
  • Compile monthly and quarterly commission statements.
  • Secure necessary signatures on checks and check vouchers.
  • Help maintain accounts payable policies to ensure effective internal control.
  • Perform other special projects and related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some college coursework is preferred.
  • Experience with Sage500.
