Description

  • Accounts Payable:

    • Process and verify invoices from vendors and subcontractors.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills and maintain vendor relationships.
    • Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve discrepancies.

  • Accounts Receivable:

    • Generate and send invoices to clients.
    • Monitor and manage outstanding receivables, following up on overdue accounts.
    • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and ensure timely collection of payments.

  • Payroll:

    • Process payroll for employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits.
    • Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee hours, overtime, and other payroll-related data.

  • Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
    • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to management.

  • General Ledger Management:

    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
    • Record and classify financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

  • Administrative Support:

    • Provide support for various administrative tasks as needed.
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Profile

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper, ideally in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
