Double E Group is seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Specialist. The role is responsible for sales of Engineered products/solutions into converting and related industries including Automative, Aerospace, Food and Medical Packaging. The Technical Sales Specialist will work closely with our global network of Territory Managers providing rapid response and initial qualification of all opportunities requiring roll, shaft handling, and custom material handling solutions. The Technical Sales Specialist will act as a knowledgeable consultant providing immediate assistance and will facilitate regional engagement with our network of Territory Managers, distributors and end users. Expected sales tasks include prospecting, follow up, quoting and closing sales in conjunction with their partner Territory Managers. Travel may be required but estimated to be less than 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Immediate response to customer inquiries
  • Qualification of customer needs through phone and email communication
  • Consistent engagement with Territory Managers
  • Deliver proposals, timely follow up, and closing of projects.
  • Expertly handle price negotiations as well as terms and conditions of orders
  • Develop and master product and industry knowledge.
  • Work with Engineering and Production to confirm application, design and delivery.
  • Detailed reporting of all communication into CRM portal
  • Reporting of forecasts and pipeline to management
  • Assist in marketing via web, email, and trade shows.
Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills with a successful track record of selling technical products in a proactive inside sales role.
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or technical experience equivalent
  • Converting or material handling experience a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, SalesForce (CRM) and ERP Systems
