We are looking for a Receptionist Assistant & Inventory Associate to join our team at our dried-food distribution company, Sunco & Frenchie. This position combines front desk responsibilities with inventory management tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage inventory efficiently.

Pay is based upon experience. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Receptionist Duties:

    • Welcome visitors and direct them appropriately.
    • Answer incoming calls and emails, providing assistance or forwarding messages as needed.
    • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
    • Schedule appointments and manage conference room bookings.
  2. Order Processing:

    • Receive and process customer orders accurately and promptly.
    • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure order details are complete.
    • Generate invoices, packing slips, and labels for outgoing orders.
    • Communicate order status and shipping information to customers.
  3. Inventory Monitoring:

    • Monitor inventory levels of dried-food products.
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Place orders for replenishment stock as needed.
    • Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory items.
  4. Supply Chain / Logistics:

    • Assist in coordinating with vendors and suppliers for timely deliveries.
    • Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Assist in managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating terms.
    • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business administration or inventory management is a plus.
  • Must have at least 5+ year previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, and/or inventory associate role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or software is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
