Diverse Systems Group, LLC is seeking a Change Management Specialist who will be responsible for the overall development, design and daily operational duties for change control management planning for the Information Technology Department at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC).

 

Job Summary: 

  • Assists with identification of the Change Control Board members and defining authority of the Change Control Board.
  • Develop and maintain change management artifacts, including change records and change plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document change requirements, including impact analysis, risk assessment, and change scheduling.
  • Present changes to Change Control Board as necessary and record status of decisions made
  • Coordinate change approval meetings with applicable stakeholders and Change Control Board (CCB), ensuring all necessary documentation is available for review.
  • Facilitate discussions and provide guidance during Change Control Board meetings to ensure a thorough review of change requests, including consideration of potential impacts and risks. 
  • Monitor and report status of change requests, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership. 
  • Act as a stakeholder for the configuration and maintenance of change request management within the approved ticketing system, ensuring that the system supports efficient and effective change management processes.
  • Continuously improve change management processes and tools by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills & Abilities: 

  • Familiarity with change management tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple change requests simultaneously.

 

Education/Experience:

  • 8+ years of Change Management or equivalent experience.

Certification(s): CMP

 

Clearance:

Must have a Secret security clearance and be able to maintain.

 

Nice to have: Knowledge of ITIL principles and certification (e.g., ITIL Foundation)
