We expect our Sales Reps to:

  • Utilize social media platforms, online directories, industry associations, and other resources to identify and qualify potential customers.
  • Proactively reach out to prospects through cold calls, emails, and social media messages to generate leads and establish initial contact.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients by actively engaging with prospects, conducting needs assessments, and presenting tailored solutions to address their freight brokerage requirements.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Establish strong professional relationships with prospects through effective communication, active listening, and a consultative sales approach.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze customer feedback, market demands, and emerging trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze customer data, industry trends, and market insights to identify growth opportunities and create tailored solutions for clients.
  • Effectively manage customer relationships throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Foster ongoing communication, address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to evaluate their satisfaction, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer interactions, sales activities, and progress against targets.
  • Communicate customer requirements, feedback, and opportunities for improvement internally.
  • Generate regular sales reports and provide accurate sales forecasts to the management team.

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Must be awesome
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in Freight Brokerage/Sales
  • Knowledge of commercial equipment types and limitations required
  • High energy, team player
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Always hungry for more
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to to multi task
  • Sense of urgency to complete tasks and make on the fly decisions
  • Ability to motivate and influence those around you in order to achieve mutually beneficial results
  • Ability to work on a team while driving self performance
