Cannabis and CBD Packaging Sales Representative
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on selling cannabis and CBD packaging solutions. This role demands a proactive individual who excels in driving sales independently and possesses a strong passion for the cannabis industry. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships, driving sales growth, and contributing to our competitive edge in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the cannabis and CBD packaging market.
- Identify and prospect potential clients, including cannabis dispensaries, CBD retailers, and related businesses, to introduce our packaging solutions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored packaging solutions.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients statewide, presenting product offerings and negotiating terms.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the cannabis industry or related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets independently.
- Self-starter with a strong drive to succeed and ability to work autonomously.
- Willingness to travel extensively statewide to meet clients face to face.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of cannabis packaging regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Established relationships within the cannabis industry are highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
