SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Manager for its client in the Hanover, PA area. This individual would lead a pharmacy team and address customer needs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Hire, train, and manage pharmacy staff.

·        Oversee daily operations, conduct performance reviews, and handle any disciplinary issues.

·        Manage work schedules, address partner complaints, and resolve operational issues.

·        Maintain optimal inventory levels.

·        Review profit and loss statements, sales data, and labor metrics.

·        Report issues to upper management.

·        Accurately fill prescriptions and complete necessary paperwork.

·        Ensure proper billing for insurance.

·        Administer immunizations and participate in local health fairs.

·        Ensure compliance with legal and company guidelines.

·        Properly stock, rotate, or discard dated products.

·        Maintain a friendly attitude.

·        Assist customers with product selection and address their questions and concerns.

·        Build relationships with local doctors.

·        Verify customer information with healthcare providers and insurance companies.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree required.

·        2+ years of experience in pharmacy required.

·        Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.

·        Ability to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

·        Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
