As Director of Performance Marketing at RB Brands, you will design, implement and operate the paid search strategies that drive the success of our B2C lead generation business. This is the first dedicated marketing hire for the business, and as such you’ll have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. You will be a key stakeholder in our acceleration from early stage to operating at greater scale.

This is a full-time position and will report to the founder CEO. While we prefer the role to be on-site in Charlotte, NC, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

Founded in 2022, RB Brands is a performance marketing & lead generation agency born out of decades of experience in digital marketing. We focus on connecting consumers with service providers across a range of rapidly growing verticals including home services, medical, and legal. We own and operate a variety of digital brands and develop proprietary marketing technology to efficiently buy media at scale.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance in not only mature platforms which include Google and Microsoft, but also emergent ad buying networks.
  • Research keywords, perform competitive analysis, craft campaign structures and targeting strategies, and write relevant ad and landing page copy
  • Design, create, and report on A/B tests to drive improvements across all KPIs
  • Analyze data to make recommendations to improve existing campaigns, forecast and develop new strategies that will inform future decisions.
  • Partner with engineering to develop dashboards to measure campaign success
  • Direct the development of website content and SEO strategies

  • Comfortable wearing many hats, including as a player-coach manager, with an ability to be flexible. You embrace environments that may be hectic.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Deep understanding of Search (SEM & SEO) is a must. Candidate must have an understanding of how search engines operate and have experience developing campaign strategies from inception to execution.
  • Fluency in A/B testing fundamentals and best practices.
  • A love of data, and the ability to examine numbers, draw conclusions, and communicate these insights effectively to business stakeholders.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing and driving SEM strategy of complex digitally focused profit-driven customer acquisition marketing campaigns
  • Extensive experience using advertising management tools such as Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Ads Editor
  • Demonstrated quantitative skillset and can think creatively to decide testing methodologies and oversee optimization of campaigns to deliver results.
  • A commitment to growth of the business. You will be employee number three. You need to have a keen interest in the success of the business, and must have a genuine curiosity and excitement about the inner workings of the industries we are involved in, broadly the digital advertising ecosystem and B2C lead generation.

 

The base salary for this position is $90K per year plus incentive compensation and benefits. Targeted earnings for this role are a combined total of $110K per year, with the ability to earn more depending on the financial success of the business. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. to be considered for this opportunity.
