Position Summary

The Senior Coordinator-Performance Marketing will oversee the daily execution of all paid media initiatives, from campaign launch to performance evaluation for the Carolina Panthers (NFL), Charlotte Football Club (MLS), and Bank of America Stadium.

This role will collaborate closely with sales, partnership, and business strategy & analytics teams across Tepper Sports & Entertainment to optimize KPI performance, implement innovative partnership activations, generate leads/sales, manage media partners and budgets, and leverage paid platforms to create engaging experiences for both current and prospective fans.

As Charlotte FC, Bank of America Stadium, and Tepper Sports and Entertainment evolve, this vital role will enhance performance marketing strategies and drive revenue around new initiatives.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, execution, and maintenance of all paid media initiatives, providing daily support for the Digital Marketing department.
  • Oversee all facets of campaign execution, including keyword research, ad copywriting, creative brainstorming, and tracking/reporting across various platforms such as search, display, and social media.
  • Manage the campaign workflow with media vendors to ensure timely and planned campaign launches, while also collaborating with vendors to test and refine new campaigns and processes.
  • Coordinate all marketing campaigns and ensure that all creative elements are delivered on schedule and meet specifications.
  • Assist in identifying and selecting new media vendors, participate in vendor onboarding, and maintain a directory of current and potential vendors.
  • Develop and implement advertising/media strategies to support revenue-generating marketing campaigns, partnership activations, community events, and other team initiatives in collaboration with the Performance Marketing Manager.
  • Create compelling briefs in partnership with the creative services team to develop engaging advertising materials that drive revenue-focused campaigns.
  • Work with the Digital Insights team to generate weekly/monthly reports on campaign, vendor, and channel performance.
  • Continuously introduce new ideas, performance marketing testing opportunities, and potential new vendors/outlets to the marketing team.
  • Conduct proactive research to understand audience segments and target media behaviors relevant to each entity of Tepper Sports and Entertainment.
  • Foster positive working relationships within the team, the broader digital marketing department, the organization, and the vendor community.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience contributing to successful, data-driven paid media campaigns.
  • Highly detail-oriented with proven organizational and time management skills, capable of maintaining quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in coordinating and/or setting up campaigns across multiple advertising platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities beyond the primary job description when necessary.
  • Full proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends, including events held on weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in contributing to successful paid media strategies across various advertising platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced industry.
  • Experience with project management software or similar tools.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office setting, with occasional outdoor work at a stadium facility, which may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions, and may also include remote work as assigned by management.
