Seeking a Senior Account Executive, with technical experience in the hospitality industry to join our team

Are you technically minded and enjoy working with people in the hotel and events industry? We provide in-house technology and production services at a premier property located in the heart of mid-town Manhattan. We employ a consultative based selling method to service meetings, conferences, and social events. As an account executive you will work closely with customers and colleagues alike, offering solutions to drive increased satisfaction and increased value to our partners.

The successful candidate will maintain the company’s strong client relationships with existing customers, both internal and external. The ability to communicate complex concepts & solutions, both verbally and in written form is critical to success. The desired candidate will also possess the necessary financial acumen to negotiate and align client budget expectations with pricing while driving profitable sales.

Previous production, audio visual or live experience is a must.

Experience:

  • Audiovisual Production and/or related technical experience required
  • Hotel, events, and /or meetings experience required
  • Proven ability to establish relationships and implement initiatives with clients, both internal and external
  • Proven ability to collaborate seamlessly with operational and sales counterparts

Responsibilities:

  • Present a polished and professional demeanor at all times
  • Create detailed and accurate orders to present to Customers
  • Present detailed and accurate orders to present to Operations for execution and fulfillment
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a timely, professional, and accurate manner
  • Contact clients from hard leads provided, (this is exclusively an inside sales position)
  • Present and sell company services to new and existing customers
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers and colleagues aware of latest developments
  • Reach agreed upon targets by the deadline

Requirements & Expectations:

  • Solid knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems as applicable within the hospitality and meetings industry

  • Strong written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • The ability and desire to learn and grow
  • Comfortable in a Fast-Paced environment
  • Ability to build rapport with clients both internal and external
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and work on multiple tasks, projects and initiatives simultaneously -- all with varying deadlines
  • Daily / Weekly / Monthly Administrative Duties as outlined by your supervisor
  • ​​​Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Proficient with general office applications
