Position Overview

Audio Visual Event Technicians

The Audio Visual Event Technicians are essential in the configuration, management, and disassembly of audio visual equipment for live corporate and social gatherings. Reporting directly to the project manager, these technicians ensure the flawless execution of video programming, audio delivery, and graphic presentations throughout events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the configuration, management, and disassembly of audio visual equipment
  • Operate video switching devices for uninterrupted programming
  • Set up and adjust projectors of various dimensions
  • Facilitate two-way audio communication for video conferences
  • Create and manage graphics and presentation materials
  • Work collaboratively with Audio/Video/Lighting Operators for dynamic live events
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficient in operating video switching devices
  • Understanding of video signal flow and resolution
  • Familiarity with audio systems such as Behringer X32 and QSC Touchmix
  • Experience as a Front of House (FOH) Engineer
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills
Compensation:
The compensation for the Audio Visual Event Technicians role ranges from $25 to $65 per hour.
