Position Overview:

We are seeking an Intake Specialist who will act as the first point of contact for potential clients seeking legal representation from our personal injury law firm. This crucial role entails conducting intake interviews, gathering essential information about potential cases, and evaluating their eligibility for representation.

Equipped with a keen ability to articulate the merits of our services, the Intake Specialist is essential in delivering exceptional client service and ensuring a positive experience for those seeking assistance. This role demands a candidate with a talent for detailed information gathering and a persuasive communication style, capable of building trust and confidence in our firm’s capabilities.

The ideal candidate will be deeply driven and experienced in sales, skilled in articulating and highlighting the essential benefits of partnering with our firm in a clear and compelling manner.

Location: This role is located at our Beverly Hills office and requires physical presence on-site.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake interviews with potential clients via phone, or in-person meetings
  • Gather detailed information about the nature of the potential case, including accident details, injuries sustained, and relevant background information
  • Screen potential cases to determine eligibility for representation based on firm criteria and legal considerations
  • Communicate effectively and persuasively with potential clients, offering insights into the firm's services, processes, and the subsequent steps
  • Accurately record intake information and case details in the firm's case management system
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of client intake forms, documentation, and contact information
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and physical files for potential and current clients
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from potential clients and provide updates on case evaluations and outcomes
  • Follow up with potential clients as needed to gather additional information or clarify details related to their cases
  • Evaluate potential cases for referral to attorneys or other legal professionals based on practice area, jurisdiction, or case complexity
  • Coordinate referrals and ensure seamless transfer of information and documentation to appropriate legal professionals or external partners
  • Maintain relationships with referral sources and provide feedback on the quality of referred cases
  • Adhere to firm policies, procedures, and guidelines for client intake and case screening
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards governing client communication, confidentiality, and data privacy
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance intake skills and knowledge
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

*Location: This role is located at our Beverly Hills office and requires physical presence on-site.

*Schedule: The initial training period will be within regular hours; however, willingness to work non-standard hours, including weekends, is necessary afterwards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with the client intake process in the legal industry or similar environments, preferably
  • Experience in sales with the ability to communicate persuasively and effectively, and highly self-motivated
  • Understanding of personal injury law is preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet goals, showcasing resilience and reliability
  • Strong attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • A firm commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information
  • Initiative to improve processes and a strong team player attitude
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, insurance claims, and legal case management software such as LeadDocket and Filevine. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Slack
  • Empathy towards client needs combined with excellent analytical skills
  • Professional, proactive, and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability for training during regular business hours and willingness to work non-standard hours, including weekends
  • Proficiency in Spanish is desirable, with fluent Spanish speakers strongly encouraged to apply
