The Opportunity: The role of Digital Marketer/Content Creator is the driving force behind our creative output. You’ll be the mastermind behind engaging content across emails, social media, and websites. Collaborating directly with our leadership team, you'll gain insights into the financial sector, contribute to our growth, and play a pivotal role in a startup that’s committed to transforming the financial landscape.

 

What You'll Do: Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but here's a snapshot of what you can expect:

Email and SMS Marketing:

  • Take charge of our email calendar and lead the execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns.
  • Craft high-impact email and sms marketing messages that address the core challenges of our audience.
  • Create engaging, error-free content, manage subscriber databases, and improve campaign performance through A/B testing and analytics.
  • Regularly develop and send out our monthly newsletters, ensuring they are informative and align with our brand’s voice.

Social Media Management:

  • Plan, create and publish compelling content for all our social media platforms that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness, and encourages community members to engage with the brand.
  • Monitor performance via analytics to understand the efficacy of each post and campaign.
  • Engage actively with current and potential followers through timely responses to comments and messages.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and conduct competitive research to keep our content relevant and engaging.

Marketing Materials Production:

  • Design and update digital marketing materials using Canva.
  • Oversee the updates for internal and external website marketing materials to ensure our digital presence is current and reflects our brand accurately.
  • Produce a range of marketing collateral, including promotional items, client presentations, and recruitment brochures.

General Marketing Duties:

  • Generate SEO-friendly content for our blog and maintain our CRM database.
  • Assist in organizing and managing logistics for marketing events and trade shows.
  • Maintain the firm’s digital presence across all platforms, ensuring all content is up-to-date and complies with industry standards.
  • Capture photos and videos at events, enriching our social media and other publications.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in creating unique email campaigns and familiarity with Mailchimp or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Fluent with computers, both Mac and PC.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a knack for clear, engaging copy.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and Canva; knowledge of WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and HTML is a plus.
  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish and previous SEO experience are advantageous.
