Sales Representative - Folded Carton Printing / Packaging - Experience Needed

Job Description

This position is responsible for generating new sales for FOLDED CARTON clients. Success in this role is heavily measured by achieving Sales quota and targeted goals set based in revenue and number of net new Folded Carton and Prime labels accounts.

Sales Representatives will support the divisions new business development initiatives by proactively engaging in outside new business development activities in addition to working with other regional sales offices and divisions of the corporation. Technical understanding (through training) of the Folded Carton (CGP) product is required.

Segments served: Food, Confectionary, Beverage, Healthcare, Cosmetics GenPack, Tobacco, and Misc. Consumer Goods Packaging Folded Carton

  • Identify new Folded Carton Packaging customers through research and prospecting (in addition to Cross Selling support with alternative revenue channels. Grow Folded Carton business by adding new business development opportunities.
  • Manage the entire Sales cycle from prospect to close.
  • Be a liaison between Sales, manufacturing, product tech. developers and suppliers
  • Conduct office meeting and product training sessions in field locations to keep enterprise sales group educated in all corporation label capabilities
  • Access all active client prospect opportunities and report activity back to leadership
  • Keep current with new technology and products, to be the technical adviser and be a resource to help deliver new client and new revenue
  • Must work closely in a cohesive team sales environment with other sales associates and team members

Required Skills

  • 5 to 7 years of consultative, B2B sales experience within the Folded Carton (CPG) Food, confectionary, Pharma, healthcare, Cosmetics, industries
  • Understanding of specifications of raw materials for company on behalf of the customers
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with all layers of the organization
  • Ability to apply market knowledge relative to competition, market share, opportunities etc. is essential to this role
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing trends, pricing, and competitive programs
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate professional experience required
  • Must have valid DL
  • Travel is 60 to 70%
