Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Desktop and be willing to undergo training on our Back Office SSCS. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match purchase orders with invoices and reconcile discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments to vendors in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and monitor accounts payable aging
Perform reconciliations with monthly vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing processes as needed
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Provide support for audits and assist with financial reporting as required
Communicate and coordinate with vendors and other departments
Perform various administrative duties such as checking mail, answering phones, interfacing with vendors on site.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in accounts payable or a related field
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
