Technical Services Technician

Our 503B FDA-registered outsourcing facility located in Irving, TX is looking for a motivated individual to join our maintenance department full-time. The hours for this position are M-F, 8 am – 5 pm, with occasional over-time or schedule changes (5 am – 2 pm)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains Carie Boyd’s facilities and equipment to maximize operations performance.
  • Performs general building maintenance as required, such as lamp replacement, simple construction, wiring, repair of doors and plumbing.
  • Experience in maintenance of production equipment. 
  • Focuses on reliability of equipment, preventative maintenance and facility maintenance or improvements.
  • Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs to production equipment and other equipment. 
  • Uses structured preventive maintenance systems to maintain machinery and equipment according to the manufacturers recommendations and good maintenance practices. 
  • Maintains efficient operation of equipment by keeping records of all maintenance jobs and repairs.
  • Might need to set tickets with service providers as needed. 
  • Be familiar with guidance that stablish performance standards of equipment.
  • Understand the principles of 5S and lean practices. 
  • Performs some warehouse duties such as receiving and movement of materials.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, be seated.
  • Be familiar and practice cleanroom etiquette and gowning practices.
  • May be assigned other duties when necessary.
