Responsibilities
  • Assist Sales Manager
  • Sales contract quality control and entry
  • Meeting notes
  • Supply orders
  • Create/edit documents
  • File and maintain paper and electronic records for the company
  • Prepare and send correspondence, such as letters and emails, to clients and vendors on behalf of the sales team
  • Assist in preparing internal and external reports
  • Create, update, and maintain databases and spreadsheets
  • Perform other administrative tasks as requested by the team

Requirements

1-3 years minimum experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and data entry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly, taking accountability for assignments, with minimal supervision.
  • Motivated to improve efficiencies
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • Funeral industry and/or sales support experience preferred, but not required

Physical Demands:

Position involves sitting, standing and/or walking for sustained periods of time. Sustained frequent movement of the fingers, wrists, hands and arms. Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to focus.
