The Compliance and Regulatory Manager is responsible for the oversight and implementation of Jacobi Carbons Quality Management System and ENHESA Program and ensuring continuous improvement in all facets of our business processes. This position is located in Columbus, Ohio, and reports directly to the Operations Director.

Essential Accountabilities:

· Manage the ISO Quality Management System (900 2015) for Jacobi Carbons, Inc. (JCI).

· Manage the Osaka ENHESA program ensuring compliance and corrective actions are followed.

· Manage the database for product certifications such as NSF and WQA.

· Manage all certifications related to quality or products for the facility.

· Manage compliance with Global Occupational Health and Safety Standards (OSHA).

· Manage all environmental site permits and ensure positive inspections with the EPA and the City of Columbus.

· Manage and facilitate internal and third-party customer audits.

· Assist with the classification and disposal of RCRA and non-RCRA material.

· Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with items related to compliance.

· Adhere to all global and regional quality and safety regulation reporting requirements.

· Manage compliance with Global Occupational Health and Safety Standards.

· Identify regulatory compliance risks and proactively work with appropriate business units to resolve them.

Previous Work & Educational Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required

· Minimum of 5+ years of proven regulatory compliance management experience preferred

· Experience managing ISO 9001

· Experience with WQA and NSF preferred

· Demonstrated ability to analyze and problem-solve independently

· Proficient in MS Office and NetSuite experience a plus

· Demonstrate ability to develop key relationships with leadership team and peers

· Excellent oral & written communication skills
