This position encompasses a broad area of responsibilities including outdoor work, which can change depending on season and needs. In addition to regular scheduled tasks such as setting up and breaking down conference rooms, keeping various areas clean and orderly-such as the resident pool area, post trash pick-up tidying of lanes and general overall upkeep of common areas, dog stations and trash cans. Employee will also assist our contracted handyman with repairs and other projects as well as resident work orders, including but not limited to damaged cement patching, power washing and various landscaping. Proficiency with tools, heavier power equipment and comfortably lifting 50 lbs. while working in a safe manner.
While there is guidance, employees are to be proactive in bringing repair needs to the attention of the office and be able to work unsupervised while maintaining good work ethics, a professional demeanor to residents, friendly, polite, and patient. Be a team player with coworkers and residents, with the judgement to know when to reach out to their support system in the office.
Prior experience in maintenance, plumbing and/or concrete repair is highly valued.
Classification: Full-time position, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Driver License: Required
