Seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the daily financial operations. 

Bookkeeper Responsibilities

· Ability to work independently and as part of team

· Coordinate and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques

· Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position

  • Prepare weekly A/R and A/P reports in Excel for management review

· Coordinate banking activities, insurance, and other financial administration

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

· Manage tax compliance for federal and state taxes, including payroll and income taxes

  • Prepare, send and track client Invoices; receive, post and deposit receipts
  • Post and track Payables
  • Participate in month-end close, year-end close and provide information for financial reporting
  • Assist with annual review and renewal of company’s insurance policies
  • Assist with tax related matters to ensure timely filing by external accounting
  • Responsible for maintaining filing and document storage

 

Bookkeeper Administrative Assistant Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or comparable experience
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in a small company environment
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge of GAAP and Financial Reporting
  • Hands on QuickBooks experience, Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, high level of accuracy, strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
