We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our growing firm. This is a permanent, full-time position that will work on-site in our Tempe office. As a Bookkeeper, your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be integral to the continued success and growth of the firm.

The Bookkeeper’s responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing payments to clients and medical providers
  • Reviewing attorney’s settlement instructions for accountability and accuracy standards
  • Preparing disbursement documents for client’s cases
  • Ongoing reconciliation of client trust accounts
  • Paying & tracking upfront costs on client’s cases
  • Communicating with paralegals & attorneys to find out the status of pending settlements
  • Completing bank deposits electronically in office
  • Accurately updating internal reports that management reviews on a weekly basis

The Bookkeeper should have the following qualifications:

  • Law firm accounting or bookkeeping experience which included trust accounting
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of and Ability to use QuickBooks 
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills required
