The Residential Program Coordinator will ensure that assigned homes/staff adhere to established schedules, specifications, and budgets.



Supervisor:

  • Receives supervision from the Executive Director and/or Director of Operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the Residential Program Manager of the assigned location(s), evaluates employee performance, and makes recommendations for employment actions.
  • Ensures the daily operations of assigned locations(s) and schedules meetings, services, and workers' time.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the operation of residences to confirm that they are managed according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Takes proactive steps to minimize delays in service delivery.
  • Ensure regulatory readiness with regards to Department of Developmental Services (DDS)inspections, and other accreditors/regulators visits making sure that staff are following all rules, regulations and policies governing the agency.
  • Regularly communicates with Residential Program Managers, Directors, and Admin to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program problems.
  • Regularly communicates with management regarding the program’s status and any problems or potential problems.
  • Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans.
  • Provides instruction to program staff in his or her assigned work locations as opportunities permit.
  • Adheres to the agency’s code of ethics and complies with Department of Developmental Services (DDS) rules and regulations.
  • Ensure confidentiality of individuals supported and the agency.
  • Develops and ensures implementation of person-centered Individual Plans (IP).
  • Provides advocacy for each individual supported based on their personal choices.
  • Ensures continuity of care in the provision of comprehensive services and for coordinating communication with other service components.
  • Represents the mission, philosophy and goals of MARCH, Inc. of Manchester to families, community contacts and the public.
  • Work cooperatively and professionally with coworkers, residential program managers, direct support staff, administrative personnel, clinical, nursing and community providers.
  • Throughout employment successfully meet and maintain the requirements of all certifications and training as established by regulatory bodies and the agency’s policies and procedures.
  • Serves on agency committees, work groups, and other bodies.
  • Provide emergency coverage as needed. (24hours on call responsibilities).
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Health Care, Human Services, or Behavioral Health fields.
  • At least three years of related experience required.
  • Experience with Department of Developmental Services (DDS) required.
  • Experience with Therap EMR system required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and access to a private vehicle.


Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex document. Able to effectively present information to management, public groups and/or Board of Directors(BOD).


Mathematic Skills:

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instruction. Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to deal with problems involving several abstract and concrete variables.

Other Qualifications:

  • Act as a role model within and outside the agency by demonstrating professional behavior; maintain positive and respectful attitude.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
