  • Project is estimated to be for 3 years with possible extension

SCOPE OF WORK:

The Office of FX Program Administration (FXPA) oversees the Agency for Health Care Administration’s (Agency) management of the Florida Health Care Connections (FX) project. FX is a multi-year transformation to modernize the current Medicaid technology using a modular approach, while simultaneously improving overall Agency functionality and building better connections to other data sources and programs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

At a minimum, the Vendor shall:

a. Assure quality and consistent project and program schedules and evaluate project schedules for adherence to Program standards.

b. Provide Microsoft Project Online expertise.

c. Provide guidance to the FX Project teams on the application of FX standards and processes and help assure clear, consistent documentation of risks and issues.

d. Provide consultative support to FX client and vendor project managers on the application of Program standards, processes, and templates.

e. Facilitate resolution of concerns with project schedules and resource allocations.

f. Escalate deviation from standards and processes to Program Director, articulation risks and providing recommendations for corrective action.

g. Comply with all FX EPgMO standards and Agency policies and procedures.

h. Abide by AHCA security policies when accessing AHCA’s buildings and systems.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

a. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

b. PMP certification

c. 10+ years of IT and business/industry work experience

d. 5+ years of experience managing projects and/or project portfolios.

e. 3+ years of leadership experience

f. Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Project Online

g. Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools
