The Sales Development Representative (SDR) educates prospects about the value of Shiftboard, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling meetings for Account Executives. The SDR engages, educates, and qualifies prospects through specific, targeted questions regarding their business challenges, consults on Shiftboard as a solution, and evaluates the potential fit for partnership. The SDR reports to the SDR Manager.

What you'll do
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospects and clients at Shiftboard, creating a great first impression by providing them with a world-class experience.
  • Contact prospects via phone/email/etc asking pertinent questions, listening, and qualifying opportunities.
  • Schedule appointments between qualified prospects and Account Executives.
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing prospects through creative follow-up communications designed to educate and increase customer interest.
  • Partner collaboratively with Account Executives to successfully transition prospects into the next phase of the sales cycle.
  • Build knowledge of Shiftboard’s software and services, providing accurate product information and use case solutions to prospects.
  • Keep Salesforce up to date to ensure the team is working with consistent and accurate information.
  • Utilize Outreach to manage call/email cadences.
Skills you’ll need
  • 1-2 years of corporate experience required
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Able to connect business challenges to high-impact solutions
  • Experience being held to and motivated by metrics
  • High energy, positive attitude, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Previous SaaS SDR experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

The U.S. annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for this full-time position is between $70,000 and $85,000. This range represents a combination of annual base pay and targeted commission. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on various factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate’s work location, job-related skills, experience, and education.
