Faith in Action East Bay (FIAEB) seeks a dynamic Executive Director to lead our organization. The ED will drive fundraising, engage faith community members, and oversee staff and volunteers. Reporting to the FIAEB Board Executive Committee, the ED collaborates with the Board to set the organization’s vision, strategy, and priorities.
What You’ll Do:
Faith Community Engagement
- Engage and support congregations, clergy, and lay leaders from diverse traditions.
- Maintain contact with key volunteers in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
Drive Impactful Fundraising
- Build relationships with individual and institutional donors.
- Oversee grant writing and ensure program funding.
Community Organizing
- Organize and lead impactful county-wide meetings and local clusters.
- Build strong coalitions with elected officials, policy leaders, and community allies. Support community members in leadership roles.
Organizational Oversight
- Guide our dedicated staff and volunteers with clear direction and support.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that aligns with our mission and values.
- Drive strategic planning and ensure our goals are met with excellence.

- 3-5 years of leadership experience in a nonprofit or social justice setting.

- Exceptional relational and public speaking skills.
- Proven success in fundraising and grant writing.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
