We are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Operations to join our team at Alchemy Global Talent Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our moving and relocation business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate the moving department activities, ensuring seamless execution of projects and excellent customer satisfaction.
  2. Goal Setting: Establish goals for the department, aligning with the company's overall strategy and objectives.
  3. Performance Tracking: Regularly track results and trends to inform business forecasting and decision-making.
  4. Team Management: Report on team and individual performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to drive growth and improvement.
  5. Financial Management: Work with the CFO to coordinate closing schedules for all billing and accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  6. Human Resources: Collaborate with the HR Manager to create and develop job descriptions, recruit, and interview candidates for various roles within the moving and relocation department.
  7. Employee Engagement: Organize and carry out an annual worker appreciation event and staff awards to recognize and reward outstanding performance.
  8. Warehouse Management: Control warehouse products entering, receiving, pulling, locations, and loading by supervising warehouse workers and commercial sales.
  9. Shift Management: Coordinate warehouse shifts, timings, and hours of operation with the warehouse manager.
  10. Software Selection: Participate in the team choosing new software for warehouse inventory management.
  11. Equipment Management: Work with the warehouse manager and staff to keep track of equipment, dollies, panel carts, hand trucks, and extension's loss prevention and equipment storage.
  12. Manpower Planning: Calculate the necessary manpower for major moving projects.
  13. Meetings and Communication: Organize monthly operations meetings locally and facilitate open communication among team members.
  14. Business Development: Bring in fresh concepts to improve business and workflow, driving growth and innovation.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Previous experience as a General Manager within the moving and relocation industry focused on sales is required.
  2. Education: A bachelor's degree is desirable but not essential.
  3. Skills: Excellent written and verbal abilities, strong computer abilities (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and outstanding leadership and presenting skills are required.
  4. Training and Development: Must be able to train and develop both current and new staff members.
