JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Staff Accountant will be the sole person responsible for managing financial procedures and handling all accounting functions ranging from accounts payable to cultivating accounting statements. This person will oversee the approval of outgoing check payments, as well as process general ledger and journal entries. At month end the Staff Accountant will ensure all closing functions have been completed including reconciling accounts and recording all incoming and outgoing cash. 

EXPERIENCE:

3-5+ years of public accounting experience working within a warehouse or a 3PL environment.

Excel reporting skills a plus.

Thorough knowledge of GAAP standards.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Equipped to work independently and efficiently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

Exhibit a high level of emotional intelligence, active listening, and social competence.
