Position Summary:
Graham Packaging Company is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician.

The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing systems through electrical, mechanical, and processing expertise. The technician will conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance on all production machinery and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to and enforce all established safety, health, quality, GMP, and company policies and procedures.

Ensure the production of high-quality products by monitoring quality standards and adjusting manufacturing processes as necessary.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes to determine the layout of industrial electrical installations.


Install, inspect, replace, or repair electrical wiring, outlets, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.

Test electrical and electronic systems for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.

Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.

Service, repair, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.

Diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices.

Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records.

May involve the installation, maintenance, and calibration of industrial instrumentation and related devices as needed.

Assist and educate production staff on the proper operation and maintenance of machinery.

Some travel may be required.

Qualifications:
A two-year Associate Degree in an electrical-related field is advantageous. A minimum of five years of experience as an industrial maintenance electrician is preferred.

Industrial Electrical Technicians must interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.

Essential skills include:

Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.

Proficiency in computer usage and typing skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.


Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering excellent customer service.


Capability to work independently and complete assignments within the given parameters and accepted practices.

Compensation Information:


The expected salary range for this position is determined in accordance with legal requirements in various jurisdictions.

Final compensation will be based on individual qualifications and experience.
