We are seeking an Administrative Assistant in Owosso, MI This is a 14-week contract assignment with the possibility of an extension.

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate:

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support services including coordination, planning, recording and managing of schedules, appointments, meetings, events, assigned projects, answering and placing phone calls and drafting correspondence. Attends meetings, records, transcribes and maintains minutes as well as various related administrative support services. Strives for superior performance by consistently providing a product or service to leadership and staff that is recognized as ultimately contributing to the patient and family experience. Recognizes and demonstrates understanding of patient and family centered care.

Responsibilities:
-Attend designated meetings, record minutes, and type and maintain minutes.
-Maintain and update as needed job descriptions.
-Demonstrate strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs. Perform keyboarding, proofing, copying, indexing and distribution of Policies and Procedures, meeting agendas and other items.
-Coordinate Department and Operational meetings as requested.
-Support Vice-President and legal counsel in relation to employee agreements and leases.
-Works closely with Michigan State Loan Repayment program and provider enrolled within the program.
-Assists with processing capital budget requests.
-Receive, prioritize and disseminate administrative calls to appropriate leader.

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years as an Administrative Assistant - Required
  • Healthcare Experience - Required
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field - Highly Preferred
