Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching and reaching out to roofing contractors, general contractors, and architects to generate new business opportunities. This role also includes marketing responsibilities, where you will help to create and execute strategies to increase our brand visibility and market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Outreach:
    • Research and identify potential clients within the roofing, general contracting, and architectural sectors.
    • Initiate contact through cold calls, emails, and networking to build relationships with key decision-makers.
    • Schedule meetings and presentations to showcase our solutions and close new business deals.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Maintain a detailed and organized CRM system to track leads, follow-ups, and client interactions.
    • Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients to uncover additional business opportunities.
  • Market Research:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
    • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to refine our offerings.
  • Marketing Support:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content and campaigns that target specific industries and client segments.
    • Assist in the development of marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, and digital content.
    • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and webinars to promote our brand and generate leads.

 

  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and sales pipeline progression.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the construction, roofing, or architectural industry.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to business development.
    • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, particularly with marketing teams.
