Summary: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing territory share by converting inbound inquiries and engaging in high-volume outbound prospecting. The role focuses on achieving sales activations for containers, ground-level offices, modular structures, and value-added products through strategic planning and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth:
    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to exceed targets for various modular structures and products.
    • Spend 40% of time on outbound prospecting, 30% on inbound inquiry conversion, and the remainder on account development and customer visits.
    • Identify and prioritize potential customers, industries, and market segments.
    • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and convert leads into successful sales.
    • Pursue high-volume project and transactional opportunities, offering turnkey solutions and value-added products.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through communication, site visits, and exceptional service.
    • Understand customer needs, recommend products, and address inquiries promptly.
    • Collaborate with customers to create tailored solutions for their requirements.
    • Use SalesForce CRM to track performance and manage customer interactions.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
    • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and provide feedback to management.
  • Quoting and Pricing:
    • Use a consultative selling approach to maximize pricing and lease rates.
    • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for potential customers.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts using CRM software.
    • Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
    • Meet daily/weekly expectations on leading indicators to achieve goals.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
    • Provide guidance and support to colleagues to achieve common sales objectives.
