Guerdon LLC, a leading manufacturer of modular construction solutions, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects in Boise, ID. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for modular construction projects. Coordinate all activities related to the planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Provide regular updates on project status and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and on-site workers, ensuring clear communication and efficient task management.
  • Quality Control: Monitor construction activities to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Budget Management: Track project costs and make necessary adjustments to stay within the approved budget. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Address any issues or delays that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks according to project timelines.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in modular or large-scale commercial construction.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, modular construction methods, and local building codes.
