The Front Desk / Referral Coordinator is responsible for coordinating specialty care for patients referred by a physician using Island Doctors protocol to ensure they comply with medically necessity guidelines and thorough documentation.  Qualifications will include prior Front Desk experience in handling general clinic responsibilities. 

Minimum Qualifications 

· Willingness to travel between surrounding offices - Wildwood & Ocala

· Previous medical office experience

· Strong customer service focus

· Effective verbal and written communication skills

· Team Oriented

· Must possess a high level of organization and prioritization skills 

· Ability to utilize sound judgment and be a strong problem solver

· Accept accountability in completing tasks with the utmost level of quality 

High school diploma required
