Our client of over 12 years, is a leading provider of advanced medical imaging solutions. For the last 40 years they have been dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative technology and exceptional service. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Radiology Director or VP of Sales to create, hire, and lead the sales team and drive growth in their radiology product lines.
Job Summary: The Radiology Director/VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, KPIs, and marketing strategies to set and achieve revenue targets for our radiology services. This role involves hiring, training, and managing a high-performing sales team, building strong relationships with key customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful promotion and adoption of our imaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for radiology products.
- Hire, lead, mentor, and manage a team of inside sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals. Expectations are a team of at least 4 direct reports.
- Expand our existing clientele in the VA (Dept of Veteran Affairs)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, and radiology centers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company's market presence.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote our products and services.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with a focus on radiology or medical imaging products.
- Experience or Exposure to LHI (Logistics Health Incorporated) and its replacement QTC (Quality, Timeliness, Customer Service) strongly preferred
- Experience in the IME (Independent Medical Examination) sector
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the radiology market, including key players, market trends, and regulatory environment.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Experience hiring, training, and leading teams.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
