Job Role:

The Servicing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing our portfolio of loans, by closely coordinating with the current Servicing Specialist and working with the external sub-servicing teams. This position ensures an accurate onboarding process of new loans, timely processing of loan payments, maintaining customer accounts, handling of non-paying borrowers, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong analytical skills, being adept at prioritizing emails, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with clients which includes both Private Lenders and Borrowers, as well as internal & external team members.

Key Duties:

1. Account Management: Closely coordinates with the Broker, Servicing Specialist and the sub-servicing members to manage our portfolio of loan accounts, helping to ensure accurate record-keeping and timely processing of payments, oversees that late paying borrowers are followed up with, sends updates to our Private Lenders and monitors any requested payoffs are accurately done.

2. Account Resolution: Oversee the resolution of any overdue loan payments, ensures databases are fully maintained with updates as needed, and assist with any modifications in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

3. Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for our private lenders (investors) as well as borrowers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to specific monthly payments, late payments, loan servicing platform questions, etc.

4. Compliance: Helps to ensure all loan servicing activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations by following our specific procedures, and set company policies.

5. Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on loan status, payment histories, and account activities.

6. Communication: Collaborate with external & internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution. Must have good problem-solving skills and comfortable with communicating to resolve any issues that may arise.

7. Problem Resolution: Predict and resolve discrepancies in loan accounts, be able to help manage the insurance line, including Lender Placed Insurance as needed, able to help cover the Foreclosure process when necessary, working with clients and internal teams to rectify respective issues in our portfolio of loans.

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete loan servicing documentation, including payment history, client correspondence, and account notes through our loan processing system and sub-servicing platforms.

9. Training & Development: Through company training, company legal subscriptions and continuing education, stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 1 year of experience in loan servicing software & management.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service (customer service, problem resolution & time management of tasks), Escrow services, banking or a related customer services role.

· A desire and passion to help others, who enjoys communicating with others and maintaining positive relations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize emails & tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Proficiency in relevant computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. The ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely is critical for ensuring success in this position.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and use a computer for data entry and communication.

Work Environment: Shared work environment.

Hours: This position is full-time, 40-hour week in the office, from 8:30am to 4:30pm with a paid 30-min break for lunch, as well as a mid-morning & afternoon 10-min break, Monday – Friday.

Job Structure: This is a non-exempt position with hourly pay rate between $28 to $31 an hour.
