Position Overview:

The role involves executing a variety of responsibilities specifically associated with the management of all types of construction loans. All tasks are conducted in alignment with established protocols and policies. The position requires close collaboration with construction servicing personnel, loan staff, and third-party construction management firms to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, track, and assess preliminary notifications and maintain the disbursement log.
  • Verify updated information from general contractors, including general liability and workers' compensation insurance, as well as current business licenses.
  • Gather construction documentation for cost assessments.
  • Monitor the general ledger for inspection and draw fees; update funds collected at closing and manage fee balances, replenishing as necessary.
  • Review interest reserve logs monthly to ensure timely interest payments; collaborate with Loan Help to resolve discrepancies.
  • Upload and scan approved and funded draw packages for record-keeping.
  • Examine completed draw packages and finalize files.
  • Ensure that closed loan disbursement packages are comprehensive and that final draw totals align with FISERV DNA.
  • In the absence of the appraisal coordinator, manage the ordering and necessary reviews of appraisal reports.
  • Assist in processing draw requests.
  • Complete a minimum of 10 hours of CRA volunteer work annually, typically scheduled during business hours, with compensable time and reimbursed mileage.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications for the Construction Services Coordinator:
  • At least 2 years of experience in banking, preferably within a Loan Operations/Servicing capacity.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to adhere to processes and procedures.
  • Basic accounting knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications for the Construction Services Coordinator II:
  • Experience in construction servicing or a related field is required.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a Loan Operations/Servicing role is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Basic accounting knowledge is mandatory.
  • Ability to analyze reports, budgets, and timelines effectively.
  • Intermediate skills in follow-up and monitoring.
  • Professional handling of adverse situations.
  • Capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not entail any supervisory duties.

Physical and Mental Demands & Work Environment:

The incumbent frequently engages in data entry, communication, operation of basic office equipment, and other activities such as sitting, walking, standing, reading documents, detailed work, problem-solving, client interaction, reasoning, mathematics, language tasks, presentations, and both verbal and written communication. The role may involve occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds, as well as actions such as pulling, squatting, kneeling, and reaching. The work environment is typically a non-confined office setting with a quiet to moderate noise level.
